About

Since 1999, the United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC) has been held at Winthrop University’s iconic course in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Founded by Harold Duvall, Jonathan Poole, and Dave Dunipace, the event set a new standard for elite disc golf. With its single-division format, challenging course, and rigorous qualifying path, the USDGC remains one of the sport’s most prestigious and influential tournaments.

Special Edition - 2011 USDGC

The 2011 United States Disc Golf Championship was a milestone year. 122 players from the U.S., Canada, and Finland took on the Winthrop Gold Course in Rock Hill, South Carolina. That year introduced a new performance-based format, where players competed against their own PDGA ratings instead of each other—allowing competitors of all skill levels to shine.
